About Phoebe Bass, LPC | EMDR Therapy in Colorado

Welcome. Take a deep breath — you’ve made it this far, and that matters.
Whether you’ve been in therapy before or you’re exploring it for the first time, finding someone who truly gets you — who sees the full picture and can help you move toward healing — can feel overwhelming.

You might be carrying anxiety that makes it hard to be present, trauma that keeps resurfacing, or the quiet ache of loneliness, even when you’re surrounded by others. Maybe you feel tired all the time — tired of replaying conversations, tired of feeling too much, too sensitive, too reactive. If so, I want you to know:

You’re not broken. And you don’t have to carry this alone.

EMDR Therapy in Colorado for Trauma, Anxiety & Emotional Overwhelm

I offer trauma therapy and EMDR therapy in Colorado for people navigating anxiety, painful memories, complex PTSD, and relational wounds. My approach combines practical tools for immediate relief with deeper healing work to help you move forward — not just coping, but actually transforming what feels stuck.

As a therapist, I meet clients where they are — with compassion, humor, and deep respect. Together, we’ll work toward:

  • More patience with your loved ones

  • More ease in your body and nervous system

  • Greater clarity, confidence, and calm in your daily life

My Therapy Style: Relational, Affirming, and Evidence-Based

As an EMDR therapist, I help clients process trauma, reduce anxiety, and reconnect with parts of themselves they’ve had to hide or shut down. I use a blend of:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work

  • Mindfulness and compassion-based practices

  • Cultural humility and social justice awareness

  • And when it fits — laughter and real human connection

Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in relationship. I believe that healing happens when you feel fully seen, fully accepted, and safe enough to be your whole self.

A Space for the Parts of You That Have Felt Unwelcome

I work especially well with clients who’ve been told they’re “too much” — too anxious, too angry, too sensitive, too exhausted. What I know is that these qualities are often tied to deep empathy, intuition, and strength. In our work together, we’ll honor those parts of you, while also building tools to regulate your emotions and care for your nervous system.

Identity-Affirming Therapy That Sees the Whole You

I am deeply committed to creating a space that’s not just “inclusive,” but intentionally affirming of people navigating marginalization, trauma, and systemic oppression.
My therapy practice affirms:

  • LGBTQIA+ clients

  • BIPOC individuals

  • Folks in kink/BDSM communities

  • People in polyamorous or ethically non-monogamous relationships

If you’ve ever felt like therapy wasn’t built for you — I want you to know you are welcome here. I center your safety, autonomy, and lived experience in every session.
